Question 1

How much sugar is really in a Magic Straw?

Accepted Answer

Just one teaspoon (about 4g). To put that in context: a small juice box has 6–7 teaspoons, a serving of chocolate milk has around 5, and most flavor powders have even more. Magic Straws deliver real fruit flavor without the sugar crash — that's the whole point.

Question 2

Are they actually safe for kids?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Magic Straws are recommended for ages 3+, made with BPA-free food-grade materials, gluten-free, non-GMO, and produced in a nut-free facility. No artificial dyes, no high-fructose corn syrup, no preservatives you can't pronounce. A favorite of parents and kids alike.

Question 3

How do they work? Is it just powder in a straw?

Accepted Answer

Nope — that's what makes us different. Each straw is filled with tiny natural flavor beads that dissolve slowly as your child sips. No mixing, no shaking, no clumps at the bottom of the glass. Drop the straw in cold milk or water, wait a few seconds, and every sip is perfectly flavored to the last drop.

Question 4

What if my kid doesn't like them?

Accepted Answer

Start small: a single 4-pack is the easiest way to find your kid's favorite before stocking up, and our Build Your Bundle lets you mix flavors so everyone gets one they love. Unopened products can be returned within 30 days for a full refund; for health and safety reasons we can't accept opened straws. See our Returns page for details.

Question 5

Can I cancel or skip a subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes — always. Subscribe & Save is 10% off with free shipping, and you can skip a month, swap flavors, change the cadence, or cancel with one click from your account. No phone calls, no retention scripts, no minimum commitment.

Question 6

Do you offer free shipping?

Accepted Answer

Free shipping on every order over $30 in the continental US. Orders typically ship within 1 business day and arrive in 3–5 days. Subscribers always get free shipping, no minimum.

Question 7

How are Magic Straws different from chocolate syrup or flavor powder?

Accepted Answer

Syrups and powders are basically pure sugar with artificial coloring and settle to the bottom of the glass. Magic Straws use real fruit flavors, contain 1 teaspoon of sugar total, add zero mess, and portion themselves — one straw per drink, every time.

Question 8

Do they contain common allergens?

Accepted Answer

Magic Straws are gluten-free, made in a nut-free facility, and contain no dairy or egg. Full allergen and ingredient info is on every product page — always double-check specific flavors if your child has a diagnosed allergy.

Question 9

Which flavors should I start with?

Accepted Answer

The Variety Value Pack is the fastest way to find your kid's hero flavor — most families report Cookies & Cream and Strawberry are the instant favorites. Building your own bundle lets you save up to 24% and pick exactly what you want.
